TideChangers is our core youth program where students learn outdoor skills, build confidence, and grow through Christ‑centered mentorship and hands‑on adventure.

Wave Makers follow the same curriculum as the Tide Changers but it has been modified and tailored to their age group. Including foundational outdoor skills and responsibility.

Puddle Jumpers is our program for the younger siblings of TideChangers and Wave Makers, giving them age‑appropriate outdoor learning and hands‑on experiences.

Majesty Outdoors is changing lives through Christ‑centered mentorship and outdoor adventure. This video shows how God uses simple moments outside to build confidence, speak hope, and remind fatherless youth and single moms that they are seen, valued, and created with purpose. Led by Bill Blodgett’s obedience to God’s calling, this ministry is sparking generational transformation as mentors invest in families and help raise future leaders.

OUR IMPACT

Behind every mentor, volunteer, and staff member at Majesty Outdoors is a story. Many of the people serving today once experienced the pain of fatherlessness themselves and now use their experiences to bring hope, healing, and guidance to the next generation.

Majesty Outdoors Board of Directors is pleased to announce an upcoming transition of leadership for the organization. We’d like to welcome Ricky Sparks into the Executive Director position to lead us into the future and continue the work of building a generation of hope by shattering the cycle of fatherlessness.

Ricky joins Majesty Outdoors bringing a powerful combination of faith-driven leadership, ministry experience, outdoor experience, and a passion for developing people. He comes to us after serving ten years as a director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where he equipped leaders, built teams, and helped scale mission impact.
A former professional baseball player and lifelong outdoorsman raised in the mountains of Colorado, Ricky now lives on the Texas coast with his wife, Brandy, and their two children. His heart for mentorship aligns deeply with the mission and vision of Majesty Outdoors
We look forward to the many community relationships and passion for mentoring and discipling youth that Ricky brings with him.

We’d also like to thank Pastor Dave Cotham for his years of leadership, strategic planning, and growth in building a dynamic team at Majesty Outdoors that, through mentoring, is giving fatherless children a fearless foundation of love, faith, and direction. Over the past ten years, Pastor Dave has taken us from filming and airing nationally our last episode of award winning Majesty Outdoors TV, to a respected and thriving mentorship organization offering free mentorship programs to over 400 fatherless youth and single mothers each week across the Coastal Bend and San Antonio. We wish him and his wife, Mary Ann, a blessed retirement and many more years of ministry.

The Executive Director transition will take place over the next couple of months as our team works together to make sure all the pieces are in place to continue Majesty Outdoors growth and impact across South Texas and beyond.

We appreciate your prayers and support for this transition and all of our staff and families as we seek God’s guidance into the future.

Gratitude isn’t just something we say.
It’s something we live.

Our volunteers don’t just give their time…
they lead with a grateful heart, and that changes the atmosphere for everyone around them.

It teaches our youth to see what they have, not just what they lack.
