The Team

Bill Tidechangers.jpeg

Bill Blodgett

Founder

Bill Blodgett's life was shaped by adversity from a young age. Losing his father at just two years old and growing up without that guiding presence could have led him down a dark path. However, destiny had something else in store for him. As a teenager, Bill found solace and mentorship in the form of a couple of his friend's dads. These men not only introduced him to the joys of the outdoors but also helped him forge a meaningful relationship with faith. Their guidance was a turning point that kept Bill away from a potentially troubled future that often befalls fatherless youths.

Years later, the love and direction that these mentors provided Bill resurfaced as a dream to change the lives of countless other fatherless youth. This dream gave birth to Majesty Outdoors in 2007, marking the beginning of an incredible journey.

Susan is Bill’s wife for over 25 years and has a degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. Michael C. Ford II

Chapter Leader | San Antonio, TX

Growing up without a stable father figure, I faced the devastating effects of fatherlessness firsthand. At just 13, I became the man of the house when my abusive father abandoned our family. My mother, overwhelmed by the burden, turned to alcohol and work to cope, leaving me to care for my siblings and manage the household. Desperate for the approval my father never gave, I turned to the streets for guidance. Life only grew darker with trauma, PTSD. My mother was dealing with miscarriages and a failed marriage, which eventually led to her imprisonment and my abandonment. This left me bitter, angry, and entrenched in violence and crime by the age of 16.

Everything changed when I met Pastor Raymond Torres at 18. He welcomed me into a discipleship program and eventually into his family, revealing the healing power of a father's love. Now, at 30, I am a husband, father, evangelist, and worship pastor. My wife Maria and I, along with our six children,, three of which are on the worship team at Avenue Church in San Antonio, TX. Today, I am passionate about raising awareness around teen suicide and mental illness, using my testimony to reach others walking through the pain I once knew, and pointing them to the hope I found in Jesus.
