The set criteria used to select scholarship recipients includes: academic performance, character, and proficiency, or potential proficiency in a chosen field of study.
Academic performance and proficiency in a field of study is determined by evaluating high school or college grade transcripts released to Majesty Outdoors Selection Committee by the student. All high school students applying must possess a minimum of a cumulative 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent upon graduation. All applicants currently attending college must possess a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent in the semester immediately

Each scholarship award will represent a scholarship grant provided to the selected students made payable to the College/University or Trade School. These grants should not be mistaken in any way for student loans. While a high school student may apply for consideration for a grant prior to being accepted at a college or trade/professional school, he/she must provide documentation in the form of an admissions acceptance letter to Majesty Outdoors Selection Committee before the grant will be finalized. The exact number of awards and the total amount of money to be awarded in 2017 will be determined during the selection process, is the sole discretion of Majesty Outdoors. Majesty Outdoors Selection Committee also reserves the right to decline the award of a scholarship based on the lack of professionalism or lack of accreditation of an institution of higher education (college, university, trade school, technical school).

All grants are made payable to the colleges or other post-secondary institutions where the recipients will attend during the 2017-18 school year. It is the intent and requirement of Majesty Outdoors that the full amount of these grants will be applied directly and only toward the recipient’s school tuition and books.
