Majesty Outdoors is proud to announce the appointment of Dave Cotham as the new Executive Director. Cotham has served as a board member and steps into the role of Executive Director to provide direction and leadership to achieve the organization’s vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives. He will oversee overall strategic and operational responsibility, including fundraising, marketing, staff management, programs, growth, and the execution of its mission, both internally and externally.
“I am beyond blessed to be a part of Majesty Outdoors and have the opportunity to lead such an amazing organization where I am able to be involved in ministering to a whole generation of young people,” says Cotham. “To be able to be doing it in the outdoors is truly a gift from God. The impact that we can have through our efforts in TideChangers goes far beyond what any of us can see at the moment. We truly have the opportunity to change the world by giving hope to this lost generation in shattering the cycle of fatherlessness. It is Kingdom work at its finest.”
Majesty Outdoors Founder, Bill Blodgett, will continue to work alongside Cotham, focusing on telling the stories of mentorship through content creation and helping to establish TideChanger chapters across the country.
Majesty Outdoors is committed to mentoring the fatherless through outdoor adventures and has expanded its reach to local chapters founded in communities across the country. For the past decade, Majesty Outdoors has told the story of how the outdoors can impact the lives of youth and teens through their nationally syndicated TV program on the Pursuit Channel, as well as through digital content. Majesty Outdoors has also awarded over $700,000 in higher education scholarships in the past decade to graduating seniors who have been a part of the mentorship programs.

Majesty Outdoors is proud to announce the appointment of Carolina Sizemore to the Majesty Outdoors staff as the Director of Programs. Sizemore’s responsibilities will include providing direction and leadership to achieve the vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives of Majesty Outdoors and its TideChangers Mentor Programs, overall strategic and operational responsibility for the development and implementation of all mentorship programs. An integral part of the Director of Programs’ position is the development and implementation of growth strategies in the TideChangers curriculum and chapter locations.
“I’m thrilled to have Carolina on board with the Majesty Outdoors staff moving forward,” says Executive Director, Dave Cotham. “She brings with her an incredible heart for the kids, as well as a couple of decades of actual mentoring experience. Carolina has also developed, and is developing, a wide range of curricula ideally suited for helping these young people become all they can be as the future leaders of our society. I see nothing but great things for the future of Majesty Outdoors and the TideChangers program as Carolina and her husband Jeff link arms with us to “Change The Tide” of fatherlessness.”
Carolina Sizemore is a former board member of Majesty Outdoors and board member and presenter for the “It’s A Girl Thing!” conference and has committed her life to battling the issues that teen girls face on a daily basis. Carolina additionally serves as Chairman for The Coastal Bend Coalition Against Modern Day Slavery and Co-Chair for EChO (Empowering Coalition of Texas), the mentoring initiative for the Texas Coastal Bend Border Region Human Trafficking Task Force.

September was a busy and eventful month for Majesty Outdoors and TideChangers. In continuing the pursuit of our mission to build a generation of hope by shattering the cycle of fatherlessness, several new TideChangers Chapters were initiated or launched. Staffing at Majesty also saw some new and exciting changes.
Alice Texas’ New Foundations church saw the potential for life change offered by TideChangers and immediately agreed to begin the launch process. First United Methodist in Pleasanton continued to build their mentor team and public awareness by participating in several community events and visiting other local churches to share the TideChangers program. Majesty Outdoors Founder, Bill Blodgett, spoke at the Bulverde Baptist Sportsman Banquet and he and Dave Cotham, met with church leaders afterward. They were excited to have the opportunity to offer a program like TideChangers to their congregation and community. Dave then traveled to the panhandle of Texas to do mentor/volunteer training at The River church in Panhandle. Dave also visited with several other pastors in Amarillo and Pampa to introduce the program and begin to build the relational foundations for Chapter growth.
The Majesty Outdoors Board of Directors met in late August to review progress, hear new vision from Bill, and voted to promote COO, Dave Cotham, to position of Executive Director. Dave had been filling that vacancy since late last year. Shortly after this position was made effective, Dave was praying about a person to fill the vacancy from his move and was given an answer almost immediately. Dave spoke to Bill and Susan about it and they prayed over the weekend. With all in agreement, Dave approached Board member Carolina Lindholm Sizemore to make an offer to come on staff. With Board approval, Carolina is now Majesty’s Director of Programs!
Carolina will oversee the TideChangers program and will work in coordination with Dave to begin writing additional curriculum designed to equip young ladies and young men to be the future leaders God intends them to be. The new curriculum, planned to begin rolling out by the beginning of the year, will be ever growing to include modules covering all aspects of personal, spiritual, and social growth. Plans are also in place to introduce an “urban” curriculum. These lessons will include outdoor activities more available to inner city churches and youth who have less access to the rural settings required for hunting and fishing. With these added curriculum modules, it’s expected that Majesty Outdoors and TideChangers will show exponential growth in the coming year. We at Majesty Outdoors are committed to continuing to #ChangeTheTide!

Pursuit Channel Upgrades to Pristine HD on DIRECTV
Glenwood, AL (March 9, 2016) – America’s overall-distribution leader for network hunt, fish, shoot content has become a category leader in total HD delivery by positioning itself as the only outdoor network to deliver the full, crisp, brightness of high definition, available to each of the customers of DIRECTV. Channel 604 on DIRECTV now features Pursuit Channel HD.
“The process to rapidly add HD homes, and welcome millions of new homes to our HD signal, began in 2016, when Pursuit became the only outdoor network on the Verizon platform and nicely packaged on Centurylink, significantly adding Pursuit in full HD to our industry-leading distribution model,” said Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit Channel. “Switching our signal to full HD on DIRECTV is a milestone in our drive to deliver more quality HD content to more HD homes than any other outdoor network.
“And we’re not through positioning Pursuit with even more HD distribution,” he continued. “Separate from Pursuit’s best-in-class OTT HD footprint, the addition of another cable distribution partner in full HD will be announced in the coming days; more distribution news is set to break within the next few weeks!”
“Adding targeted distribution and a flood of HD,” said Dennis Presley of MOOSE Media, “should now provide a very visible sample base in which to more exactly audit Pursuit Channel, according to comScore, the outdoor category’s most accurate ratings provider. So these tens of millions of new HD homes, together with millions of incremental cable homes, will give everyone a clearer picture of how well this network outperforms its competition – through the catalysts of increased picture quality, more precise viewership appraisals and patently lower costs.”
