We’ve set the dates for our Adventures of Hope 2021 Sporting Clay Shoot and Gala. The Malek Buckhorn Creek Ranch is such a great outside venue that we decided to do both the Shoot and the Gala there. Since we were unable to have the event in 2020, we’re really looking forward to seeing all our old friends and making new ones this year. We’re also making mitigation plans for being cautious in case our nemesis COVID is still around. The outside venue will help with all that with lots of social distance and plenty of wonderful fresh air! For those who’ve never seen Buckhorn, you’re going to love it!
The Clay Shoot on Saturday, the 27th is on one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in this area. The 100 bird shoot will be a great place to catch up with relationships you haven’t seen in a while and have some great shooting competition. There will be a happy hour, lunch, and awards presentation at the Buckhorn Creek lodge after the event. Times for the shoot are as follows:
8:30-10:00AM – Registration
10:00-10:30AM – Safety, Opening Ceremonies
10:30-1:00PM – Clay Shoot
1:00-3:00PM – Lunch, Happy Hour, Awards Ceremony, (Hard Shots, Flurry Available)
The Adventures of Hope Gala on Sunday, the 28th will highlight the beauty of this South Texas Ranch as the tables and stage are set up behind the lodge overlooking the brush country landscape. The event will include Happy Hour with Mariachis, a genuine South Texas BBQ feast, raffle items, and a live auction with packages that are unique and sure to be a hit. You’ll be able to catch up on the exciting growth of our TideChangers Mentor Program and hear some of the life-changing stories that have come about since our last time together, as we cast vision for the future of “building a generation of hope by shattering the cycle of fatherlessness”. The evening will end with a concert from Texas Legend, Cory Morrow and John Carroll, along with a very special guest musician. You’re not going to want to miss this one!

Sponsorships for the Clay Shoot and Gala as well as individual tickets are available at the link below. We highly recommend registering early for both events so that onsite registration is limited and we can get you enjoying the events with as little wait time in line as possible.

“Let’s Take This Outside” Community Event
Due to the extreme winter weather conditions during the week of February 14-20 and the resulting outages of power and water, and shortages of food supplies in some areas, we realize many in our community will still be trying to recover during the weekend of February 27th. With everyone’s safety and comfort in mind, we have determined to move the date of this event to Saturday, April 10th. All current registrations will remain active. We will update any changes that may occur because of this change. Thank you for your understanding in this most unusual circumstance.
We’re excited to announce the first of our “Let’s Take This Outside” Community Events for 2021. This one-day event, launching a new TideChangers Mentor Chapter for fatherless boys & girls, will be filled with Fun – Food – Prizes!
Outdoor activities include Archery Instruction and Targets, Air-soft rifle Instruction and Targets, Texas Parks & Wildlife Presentations, and Fishing Instruction and Games, (winners get a new Lew’s fishing pole). Lunch time includes a presentation to help raise awareness to the fatherless epidemic and explain Majesty Outdoors mission to “build a generation of hope by shattering the cycle of fatherlessness” through our TideChangers Mentor Program. We’ll also explain how our Single Mom’s can participate in TideChangers through specially developed life skills coaching classes.
